Lemostodrensa

Lemostodrensa is a spirit that can be found surrounding and protecting Pluarsh ec Relovut. It acts as the swamp's perimeter while being both its first and last line of defense depending on what direction a traveler might be going at the time.   It was described as a massive wall extending impossibly long in both directions and about 30 feet from the ground to its highest point. It was a yellow/green/brownish color which matched the color of the swamp acting as a sort of camouflage. This camouflage was interrupted with the occasional massive purple painting of an eye as the wall moved along the perimeter of the swamp.   The name of this spirit was never revealed to the Spiritual Travelers.

Physical Description

Body Features

Lemostodrensa resembles a snake with yellow/brown/forest green scales similar to the color of the swamp it resides it. Along either side of its body it has a light purple coloration that resembles an eye along with strange plant-like protrusions which are capable of providing flight, intimidation, and potentially striking foes.   Its size is usually the perimeter of Pluarsh Ec Relovut, however, it can also shrink down to the size of an ordinary python.

Special abilities

Lemostodrensa has the ability to alter its physical state depending on who or what is interacting with it. Neutral creatures like animals or plants can easily pass through without issue as they are just a part of nature. Sapient species, spirits, and so forth that are capable of higher decisions might be restricted until they can prove what their purpose within the swamp might be. This purpose could easily end up being food for the swamp, of course, but if it is worthy enough then it will allow them to pass through its until-recently solid form.   Agave was able to walk through as a cat for a time, but halfway through the wall it began to resolidify preventing further movement until Agave proved why he is there.   When Kaswink answered why she is there it allowed her to pass through but with great difficulty possibly indicating that her response was...less than adequate but acceptable.
Based on the abilities provided by Lemostodrensa's Favor and the fact that this spirit is the size of a wall, it could be assumed that it is capable of changing its size as well.

Mental characteristics

Morality & Philosophy

Lemostodrensa, as the protector of Pluarsh ec Relovut holds the safety and law of the swamp above all else. If it sees someone as a threat to the safety of its charge it will prevent them from being able to enter or leave. If they are outside they will be unable to do any harm, and if they are inside then they will be reduced to food for the rest of the swamp as a repayment for the damage caused.   Its existence is a combination of an almost celestial being seeking value, meaning and purpose along with a natural/druidic type force seeking kindness, compassion for nature and law. When it speaks half of it speaks in Celestial which is heard as the ringing of glass similar to an expertly played wineglass or glass armonica. The other half sounds natural, primal, snake-like and could be understood by druids with ease.   Celestial: “You are intruders. Trespassers. Your presence is not welcome and your lives are not necessary. Attack me and prove your violent natures, run and show your cowardice, prove to me your value, your meaning, your purpose so that you may have a reason to live."   Druidic: "Your presence is not welcome, your lives are unnecessary. The swamp does not see your value, and your violence only brings imbalance to a delicate existence. You would be better as food to the myriad plants you harmed, prove to me your kindness, your compassion for nature, your understanding of law and I will let you live.”
When provided answers to these requests, Lemostodrensa either remained silent while accepting the response and, without any warning, allowing whoever spoke through its form free to pass to the otherside. If the response fit both requests and involved personal traits about the person answering, then it would sometimes provide its favor and a secondary phrase indicating that they may pass.   Those that didn't receive its favor were unable to pass back through the wall, those that did were free to come and go as they please.   When Frode questioned the request, asking why Lemostodrensa doesn't protect them since they are in the swamp, the spirit replied by asking if he "would prefer to be a part of the swamp himself".
