Alcoholic Beverages in the Spirit World

This article is dedicated to the various bottles of alcohol consumed by Agave and perhaps even enjoyed by the occasional other Spiritual Traveler depending on the situation.   Unlabeled Tequila - The label is of a Lonely Blue Agave growing in the desert. The art is simplistic, largely outlines, but the agave has a strange glow about it… There’s no name on the bottle. It was found next to a candle wrapped in red dragon scales in The Maze. Agave offered it to the Winter Hart as an apology for any supposed transgressions. It is unclear what happened to the bottle after that, though there's likely a priceless tequila roaming about The Gates.
  • Tasting Notes - Agave sampled the tequila and noted that it was particularly good... or, rather, the best tequila he'd ever tasted.

Sgith's Pinot Noir - The label has a treefrog Eadarling wearing a button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, leaning on a bar with his head tilted back, turned to the side, and pouring a glass of the wine down the hatch. It has an eerie combination of both elegance and looseness.
  • Tasting Notes - While it was devoured with great haste by a distressed Agave, notes of grapes, thyme, spice, spais, and cherries were all detected along with signs that it was aged with great care in a black oak barrel.

Mothlight Bean Vodka - The label is a long bean, similar to a catalpa bean, surrounded by small white flowers. The top of the image has writing which says "Mothlight Bean" in an elegant font while the bottom says, in bold letters, "VODKA".
  • Tasting Notes - A deliciously infused vodka with a combination of floral and hints of vanilla from the bean pods that grow on Mothlight Trees. These beans also provide a slight glow to the vodka and drinking it helps you feel safe.

Molly Melanny McMarymarg’s Mead - This dusty bottle of mead has a honeysuckle with a bee flying around. The bee seems to be moving within the drawing on the label, and a circle around the illustration frames the obnoxiously long name of the brewer. It has yet to be tasted, but it was acquired by Agave on Nurend 13, 308 in Mothlights.
Pol’en Tol’n’go’s Rum - The label for this rum is of a Pirate Airship precariously balanced over a massive cravace. The bottom of the ship appears to be breaking slightly, and at the bottom of this cravace appears to be some plants. The lettering is all in gold with a classic, easy to read font that says "Pol’en Tol’n’go" at the top and "RUM" at the bottom.
  • Tasting Notes - Agave tried some of this rum before purchasing it on Nurend 13, 308 in the Mothlights. It tastes like a very high quality and magical spiced rum. Almost like some of the best spiced rum one could buy, but made from magical spirit plants so it has even more evolving flavors from the spices, fruits, vegetables and different sugars.

Arjan’s Moonshine - Sold in mason jars with no label aside from the embossed "ARJAN" on the jar. Each moonshine has bits of the fruits/vegetables/herbs that are used to flavor it floating inside. They haven't been tasted yet, but Agave acquired some Fruit Salad, Mint Cucumber and Vanilla Bean flavored jars on Nurend 13, 308 while in the Mothlights.
Catalpa Beer - Beer fermented from Catalpa beans and seeds, the label is incredibly simple with only a nice illustration of a catalpa bean surrounded by catalpa flowers with no writing. It has yet to be tasted, but it was purchased by Agave on Nurend 13, 308 while in the Mothlights.
Measan's Chardonnay - The label features a silhouette of a bunch of white grapes lying gently on a grape leaf. It’s incredibly simplistic in nature, though there’s a certain sense of nobility that comes from it and you feel like it could be a high quality wine just by looking at the artistic, monochrome label. It was consumed with great ferocity during the Spiritual Traveler's celebrations upon exiting the swamp and finding The Daytime Village of Aotri on Nurend 17, 308.
  • Tasting Notes - High quality white grapes, apples, lemons, and some oak as it seems it was aged to perfection in oak barrels. There's a very slight smokey aftertaste that lingers along with the acidity of the lemon and sugar of the other fruits. A rather gorgeous and prideful white wine.
