The Franbus Dynasty
Based on planet Hilorix in the Plork Nebula
Current leader, "Arch Prince, Duke Karlath Franbus the 3rd"
Membership consists of a number of different species, all working for the betterment of the Dynasty. Often identified by their well tailored suits, always with bright green accents. Leaders are appointed by the previous ruling members on the event of a vacancy in a process known as the "Petition". The Franbus Dynasty originated with Garlath Franbus many generations ago in an attempt to unite the warring factions on Hilorix. Over time, the organization has transformed into a pseudo government. Providing some level of civilization to the untamed space that is the Plork Nebula. Basic infrastructure planning, education, policing, economic and social programs have been put in place on Hilorix under the Dynasty's rule giving the inhabitants some sense of security.
Although providing for its people, the Dynasty must still use shady tactics, and unethical revenue sources to survive in this brutal corner of space.
The Dynasty has been know to be heavily involved in the RoxiKain trade, moving large quantities through Hilorix out to neighboring sectors. Counterfeiting goods and currency, as well as piracy and sale of organic components seem to be other revenue streams.
They are currently engaged in a cold war with the Vorpal Hand of Thrassalan, vying for control of the entire nebula.
