Otano

A trained warrior who led under Kumari. He was responsible for training Metisian forces in the art of combat when Kumari marched to reclaim the Metisian castle from Micah. He befriended Kumari when she first came to the castle but was in fact working with the Legion of Chaos. He was tasked with gaining Kumari’s trust and grooming her to either join the Legion of Chaos willingly or be taken over by Conall. Otano never considered himself to be allied with the Legion of Chaos. He did, however, ally with Kumari, officially, after she had gathered a sizeable Metisian army to lead against Micah. He acknowledged that she was not oppressive like many other Muses when it came to non-magic users. He became a long-time follower. He continued as Kumari’s advisor and her de facto general during her reign as Legionnaire. He is also responsible for the development of magic resistance armor, colloquially known as “Scorched Metal.” Otano prefers to work with Inerts and will express displeasure and reluctance to work solely with Muses. Otano will only travel outside Murk City if Kumari asks him and she remains in Murk City. A trained warrior who led under Kumari. Otano did not endorse nor consider himself to be a Legionnaire, thus the title dissipated. He delivered the news to the Gaian Muses that Kumari had passed away. He led for fifteen years, mentoring Teek and Birch to succeed him. Teek and Birch became the joint leaders of Meta. Afterward he satyed on as an adviser. He acted as a messager to inform Kumari’s legion on Earth that she had passed away. He led them to Meta and attended the funeral of Kumari. Afterward he retunred to Murk City to help revitalize it further until he was killed there several years later. A statue of him is erected in the Hall of Legends, to the left of Kumari’s statue. The wall behind outlines his many achievements under Kumari and as leader, but the carvers did not neglect to include his initial actions with the Legion of Chaos, including the Murder of Harkor and the Hunting of Kumari.
