Nikolai Petrov

Part of Kumari’s Legion a Russian orphan who was adopted at the age of eight by Kumari. Nikolai is a potent Mind Muse. Through his childhood, he was confused and irritated by the many voices he heard (which were the voices of his fellow classmates, foster parents, and foster siblings). Because of his reactions to the voices, he was misdiagnosed with ADHD and schizophrenia (nether of which he actually had). This resulted in stunted social growth and abandonment from his actual parents by the time he was six. He spent one year in a foster home before the parents returned him. He was adopted by Kumari and finally recognized for having magical abilities. Nikolai still has issues with social interaction and can often be found lurking around, following people, and speaking in incomplete sentences. He is a powerful Mind Muse who can read minds, control people, and create vivid illusions. He becomes very close with Thomas, the True Sight Muse, while he is living at Kumari’s compound. After Kumari’s passing, Nikolai leaves with Thomas to travel the realms and offer help where needed while also gathering information for Tyrone’s Gaian Library of Magic and Muse. He is now a prominent leader and figure in Murk City and aids in its continuing restoration.
