Glowls

Glowls are eerie glowing owls that live within the trees on Eolilgeten. They glide along the canapes, following the flow of the canope's lighting. They are held in great reverence by the Swifs and they are protected from hunts and other harm, while the Inerts defy these tenets as a revolt against the ruling Swif class.
