Station 15
History
Station 15 was once an upper-class housing complex, akin to Nexus or even the Iris. It was the beacon of prosperity; a pinnacle of humanity's advacements and seemingly the best place to live in.
But now? Now, Station 15 is forgotten. Forsaken. A closely guarded secret among the Six Commanders.
The downfall began with a Pilot returning from a deep space mission. He brought back more than just data and samples as he was tasked to; he brought a virus. It started subtly, a fever here, a few hallucinations there. Soon, it became harder for him to move, until his body petrified, turning to stone.
And then it started to spread, claiming life after life, victim after victim. The Commanders had no choice but to quarantine the entire station. Isolation was the only option to prevent a wider outbreak.
And so, 15 was abandoned, its people left as statues in their final moments.
In the year 3321, Station 15 stands still as more than just a tomb but a landfill. A dumping ground for failed experiments and other things that are just a little too inconvenient. A botched Alternation Weaving? Discard it in 15. A person too troublesome to merely banish to the Under Deck? Let them disappear in 15.
Few people remember Station 15; fewer still know its current use. The Commanders keep its existence shrouded in secrecy. To speak of Station 15 is to invite suspicion, it's to make the Watchers turn to you.
