The Beginning

In the beginning, time was meaningless, and existence itself was a whispered dream. Within this primordial void lay the First Light, the Creator, the source from which all things would spring forth. It was the embodiment of pure potential, the nothingness from which creation would emerge.   In the vast emptiness of the cosmos, the First Light existed alone, a solitary consciousness adrift in the void, a beacon of possibility. For countless eons, it contemplated its own existence, exploring the infinite potential within itself.   Then, with a single thought, the First Light willed itself into being. In an explosion of divine will, it ignited the spark of creation, shattering the silence of the void with blinding brilliance. The cosmos was illuminated, and the universe was born.   This was the dawn of creation—a cataclysmic burst of energy that brought stars, galaxies, planets, and moons into existence. Life began to stir in the primordial oceans of newly formed worlds, and the cosmos took shape.   But the First Light’s creation was more than just a physical act. It was a testament to the power of will and spirit. By willing itself into existence, the Light unlocked the secrets of creation, becoming the architect of reality, the origin of all that would follow.   As the universe expanded and evolved, the First Light watched with a sense of parental pride, guiding its growth and nurturing its development. It was the father and mother of all life, the first being in existence, and its legacy would endure for eternity, a beacon in the endless dark.   From the body of the First Light emerged the Ancients—beings of immense power and insatiable hunger. They were both creators and destroyers, weaving reality with threads of cosmic malice. Among them, four major domains arose, each ruled by godlike beings of boundless ambition.   In the Aether, the first domain, thirteen archangels ruled over celestial realms of order and justice. Yet even here, shadows lingered in the hearts of angels, and whispers of rebellion echoed through paradise.   The Underworld, the second domain, was the prison of the Forsaken One, a being of unspeakable darkness. He was bound within the Nine Hells, Maniacron, and Tartarus, eternally plotting revenge against those who had cast him into this abyss.   In the Elemental Sphere, the third domain, mortal planes layered atop each other in dimensions unseen. Faerun, a land of magic and mystery, coexisted with danger and deceit. The Forsaken Realm at the center of the cosmos drew envy and conflict from surrounding worlds, locked in endless war. The Shadowlands, though not purely evil, harbored forces essential to maintaining the elemental balance, opposing life itself.   In the Far Lands, the fourth domain, whispers and tales of old and forgotton ones bind the realms together in a cosmic tapestry of fate and destiny.   The Ancients waged eternal war across these realms, each battling for dominance. Their conflict brought violence and death, shaking the universe to its core. In this universe of cosmic politics and endless war, gods and mortals alike were pawns in a grand, unforgiving drama.   This is a tale of a universe on the brink, where no salvation can be found. In the heart of the void, where madness reigns and shadows hide unspeakable horrors, oblivion is the only certainty.
