Gorgon Shield

Constructed from the stripped parts of the Gorgon at the Defense of Land's Hammer , this shield was created by Vothi Swiftstriker for Fetch .

Mechanics & Inner Workings

This shield is exceptionally strong, being made from the plate metal stripped from the mighty Gorgon.  The head of the bull is mounted on the front of the shield, and through careful tinkering of its inner workings, the user is able to control the petrifying gasses stored within.
+1 shield.  Using an action, the user can make a melee attack to shield bash a creature and release petrifying gas.  Creature makes a DC 13 Constitution saving throw; if failed, makes save after next turn.  If failed again, the creature is petrified.
