The Giant is a Firbolg raised in the wildlands to the north of the Sword Coast. Raised in the Savage Frontier his family protected the balance of nature throughout the lands.

Personal history

Raised in the Savage Frontier The Giant lived with his tribe until his sire, who had been 'Out in the World' for the past 10 years, returned wounded and near death. His sire revealed to him that an Evil was brewing in the lands to the east that threatened more than just the Prime Material plane. That day he set out travelling the Sword Coast gathering information on the Evil that was rising.

Education

Firbolgs are raised by the tribe, hunting, gathering and other essential skills are community activities. There is no tribal leader as such but the Druids hold power because they are universally respected and deferred to by the tribe.

Employment

Each tribe in the Savage Frontier has three druids of different ages, The Master trains an apprentice from birth, usually the smallest and weakest child of a generation, when they come of age they set out on a journey to experience the world and the master selects a new runt.   'The Giant' has just set out on his pilgrimage.
