Soubar
A small town within the Barony of Lord Baron Calebron Atrin, Soubar exists within the Theocracy and greater Kingdom of Elturgard.
A relatively new addition to Elturgard's land, Soubar was, for much of its history, an independant merchant town meant for the lawless opportunist in need of a way station.
Due to its famous Spring and Summer markets, its positon along Tradeway Highway, its proximity to mineral rich hills and the Boarskyre Bridge; Soubar has long been coveted by the The Sword Coast, Baldur's Gate and Elturgard alike.
However, after several disastrous raids led by bandits in the outlands, an influx in the undead threat, harsh winters and internal struggles it eventually accepted the rule of Elturgard for protection.
Under Drasberry III stewardship, Soubar is expected to eclipse Burdesk as the second most influential settlement in Elturgard and is the prized jewel of the Barony.
