Resmae grew up travelling with her father on trade deals and through his work experienced an increase in wealth and good fortune. While young, due to her father’s work, she was used to many folks of all sorts engaging with her father and as she grew into herself she began to suspect her father was less well natured than he seemed. Eventually she met and married Rai Lateef. While married she became an astute states woman behind the scenes as Rai took charge of more external issues.
Her fondness for her father however was always a weekness and through this he managed to fundamentally change the class structure of Dagger Falls for ever.
After Rai’s death at the battle of the edge, Resmae took to managing the power vacuume, and with the partnership of the fledging church of the morning lord and an excellent propaganda campaign, was eventually crowned Queen, the first royal of Dagger Falls
