Baskiev

Once the crown jewel of Villania, the city of Baskiev now lies in ruin after an event only known as “the cataclysm”. The city used to be the most revered center of arcane learning, overtaking Havenport's Ivory Tower long ago. Sadly, a sudden disaster took place in the year 810 that destroyed most of the city. No one seems to be able to pin down what actually happened, except that a huge fire occurred, and no one is willing to travel to the city to see which rumors are true. After the city was destroyed, most of the province’s towns fell to bandits or worse and the province was left to be reclaimed by the wilds.
