The Passage
A great hollow Midland isthmus which connects the sun-scorched Inlands to the frozen Outlands. This passage is essential to the fragile ecosystem of Flux, completing its system and granting the Five Lands a source of clean water.
Geography
Resting perfectly on the Flying Flux's axis, this odd tunnel is one of many stunning landmarks. However, unlike many of the others, this mega-structure actually has a purpose.
Most oceans and rivers empty in the Great Divide where Chazos removed a portion of the world, evaporating as it falls and draws nearer to the sun's odd gravitational pull. When it reaches the axis (where sun and Flux are nearest), cool air rushes in from the Outlands, creating precipitation that refills large bodies of water (i.e. the High Ocean).
