Tophet Blau
Doctor Raiemi Tophet Blau
Tophet Blau is a scientist, physician and surgeon. He appears human, but he is not. He was captured by Bruebaeker, because there was a leak of some military records that indicated that Tophet may be more than he seemed and might have access to some technology that could be useful to the research being done at USAMRIID, including further development of the RECON virus that was not ready to have been released. According to his documentation, he came from Israel, though he doesn't speak much about what brought him to North America during the Magic - Restoration period Post RECON-12.
Tophet is well known to the vhampir, and he knows the vhampir culture exceptionally well. He is considered valuable to the Vhampir, enough so that they risked one of their Knights to bring him out of captivity and get him back under Vhampir protection. He has secrets.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Dr. Blau's personal history is shrouded in secrecy. He does have diplomas indicating that he obtained medical and surgical certifications in Jerusalem at some point -- the date on the diploma is aged and difficult to read -- but he has never really spoken about his past. However, the Vhampir seem to know who and what he is with great certainty, and risked one of their Knights and her mercenary team to pull him out of the grip of the remains of the American military scientific arm.
Gender Identity
Though he appears male, he has never taken a lover of any gender, at least not where anyone noticed.
Sexuality
For all intents and purposes, Tophet appears male and asexual.
Education
As mentioned earlier, Tophet does have a diploma for medicine and certification in surgery, as well as advanced degrees in biological, chemical, and geological science, history, anthropology, and sociology that appear to be from the University of Jerusalem.
