Ithaqui
A race of sturdy and hursuit humanoid creatures once abundant throughout Geron, conquering many of the other races during the Highwinter. As Geron thawed, the typical tundra and cold-desert habitats in which the ithaqui thrived receded into the far norther, driving the Ithaqui into far nothern climes far from the new races, leaving only isolated pockets of 'wild men' amongst the northern forests and cold mountain regions.
The Ithaqui are obviously distantly related to the races of Man, being similar in most ways with the exception of their size, sparse fur and their sloped, bony faces. They are referred to as Wild Men. Despite this epithet, humans and Ithaqui don't seem to be able to have children.
