Grusa

An ancient race of humanoids snared long ago by the interdimensional webs of the Eankabi, the Grusa were brought to Geron as chattel in the Age of Tangled Riches. Despite being true Extants who have evolved over countless millennia to live amongst Geron's storied ruins, the Grusa are often mistaken for humanoids mutated by the effects of the Shroud. In reality, they come from distant realms far beyond the reach of known magicks. The Sukkani are common in Qabir, Oriab, while the scruffy and stout Kunai live almost exclusively in Leng and the surrounding mountains. The pallid subterranean Sukkani reside mostly in the Archaea, some still enslaved by the Eankab, but daring Sukkani occasionally make escapes to the surface. Ibi (3rd).
