Anthakar is the third world, born from Goradeen around the time of the Great Burial Interregnum. It was warmer than the current world of Geron, heated by the ever-belching world-trees of the Great Burial and with less temperature difference between the equatorial regions and the northern and southern regions. Large deep seaways separated the lands, disrupting the contintents of Goradeen and isolating the islands of life which survived the Great Burial into increasingly unique ecosystems. The only continents to join back together were the formerly entwined regions of Hilgar and Esorath.
Hilgar
Esorath and Hilgar are reunited into a single continent with small central desert with tall mountains separated from all the other continents. A large western forest gives way to southeastern tropical forests with many mountain ranges . A wake of archipelagic jungles spreads west and east from Hilgorath's southern tip, most of the islands imposing mountaintops that jut from the ocean.
Esorath
Esorath and Hilgar are reunited into a single continent with small central desert with tall mountains separated from all the other continents. A large western forest gives way to southeastern tropical forests with many mountain ranges . A wake of archipelagic jungles spreads west and east from Hilgorath's southern tip, most of the islands imposing mountaintops that jut from the ocean.
Orsycath
Once the west coast of Cycathil, Orsycath is a thin and long isolated continent that reaches from the frozen north all the way to the tropics, ranging in habitat from taiga to semi-arid grasslands. Orsycath is essentially a mountain range that juts out of the ocean, difficult to access at all but the most souther points due to its lack of bays or harbors and its incredibly steep oceanside cliffs. Orsycath and Cylotha are separated by a significant seaway that takes weeks to travel by boat.
Cylotha
The isolated eastern portion of Cycathil and the region of Alotha are separated from the rest of the Anthakar by several seaways. A coastal arid area gives way to light forests, with colder forests in the north and warmer rainforests south alond Cylotha's mountainous southern shore. A lobe of the coninent hangs off the top right, surrounded by mountains and separated from the Cylothan mainland by a deep but narrow seaway at all but the top of the continent.
Malbarom
The continent of Malbarom is completely separate from the rest of Anthakar, though a chain of islands leads north to Orsycath. Malbarom's western shoreline is made of arid mountains flanked by a long and narrow inland sea that effectively cuts the north half of the western mountains off from the rest of Malbarom. Much of Malbarom is equatorial and tropical rainforest that intensifies at its mountainous north and eastern coasts. The south of Malbarom comes to apoint interrupted by another long, thin inland sea that also separates the mountains from the mainland.
Bhabolek
The isolated continent of Bhabolek maintains along its northern coast an semi-arid grassland as well as a band of equatorial rainforest that extends down much of the continent into the mountainous south. A patch of arid mountains plague the southwest region, and a mountainous refuge has split away and now moves between Bhabolek and Yug'Endul called Magal.
Magal
Once a chunk of southwest Bhabolek, Magal is bar far the smallest of Anthakar's continents. Too large to be thought of as an island, Magal is a chevron of mountainous coasts which conceals a fragment of Garadeenian Bhabolek's south-eastern jungles. It sits months away from either Bhabolek or Yug'Endul by boat and its harbors mostly point north to Bhabolek and Hilgarath.
Yug'Endul
The isolated continent of Yug'Endul remains much the same as it did in the world of Garadeen.
