You animate a target with life energy. The minimum amount to animate a target is equal to the item's heft + 1 point. The animated object's physical stats will be equal to the Willpower points invested while it's mental points will be equal to a third. The Animated object can be given simple instructions such as 'pull this cart in this down this road until you reach the gates of Tarsa'.
Lesser Animate
Half the cost of Animate. The target has no intelligence and will merely perform a basic instruction until the spell elapses, such as 'pull this cart' or 'clean this floor'.
Greater Animate
Twice the cost of animate. The target's mental points are equal to half of it's physical points. It will attempt to survive beyond the duration of the spell by consuming sources of energy. The target will perform a requested task to the best of it's capabilities, such as 'Pull this cart to Tarsa and defend it from strangers, hide from anyone else during the day and travel by night, take the least populated route'.
