Einar Gothenland-Arenheim
Lord Einar Andorsson of Gothenland and Arenheim
He is the son and heir of the famous Ealdorman of Gothenland-Arenheim. At the beginning of the story he was in charge of training the Ealdorman's squires at Montsend Castle. He later led his father's housecarls at the battle of Fort Aling. After his further military success at the battles of Gartyr and Trondalen Palace, he was awarded by King Astor with a knighthood and given the position of Captain of the King's personal guards, the infamous Red Riders. He witnessed the murder of Prince Solmund of Norland, which led him to kill the Prince of Soraland. Despite this blunder, he is still in good graces with King Astor. In a tent he was spotted by Magnus Montsend while taking a bath, which revealed he was a girl posing as a boy to be able to inherit the title and lands of his father. Eira has been living as Einar since the age of seven, by order of his father. He does agree with it, as he has never really felt like a lady, preferring archery and sword fighting in armour over knitting and embroidery in fine dresses. Only a small group of people know Einar was born a girl.

Gender Identity
Though technically a girl, Einar has always felt attracted to the more masculine military work of his father. The Ealdorfru of Gothenland-Arenheim, having died in childbirth, left only a daughter to the Ealdorman. Since the age of seven, Eira has gone through life as Einar. No one dares to question the sudden appearance of this unknown son and disappearance of Andor's daughter, as the strength of their house commands respect without question, and Einar has proven his worth many times over.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Already living up to his father's military carreer by being the veteran of several battles. He has since been promoted to head of the Red Riders, the King's personal guard.
Failures & Embarrassments
On a diplomatic mission to Soraland, the Prince of Norland was killed under his watch. He lost his composure and murdered the Southern prince was well. He sustained a minor injury to his left shoulder in the ensuing battle.
