Poison Spray Spell in The Extended Perkinsverse | World Anvil

Poison Spray

There is precious little to say of this spell and even less of it is positive. This is a save or suck spell. If your target manages to resist the effects of this spell then there is no damage whatsoever. The range on this spell is terrible, meaning you are spitting poison on someone and begging for them to walk all of 10 feet to retaliate. Finally this is poison damage which is common for creatures to have resistance or immunity to and does not even induce the poisoned condition which is also a commonly resisted condition! For all these reasons it is simply not a spell anyone aught to be taking.

Effect

Target one creature in range. The creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 1d12 poison damage.

At Higher Levels. This spell’s damage increases by 1d12 when you reach 5th level (2d12), 11th level (3d12), and 17th level (4d12).

Manifestation

A puff of green smoke, the smell of almonds, a rash or other marks appearing on the target's skin.
