Personal history
Born to wealth, the son of two executives of a Luna-owned pharmaceuticals corporation, Bill was an outsider among his own kind. While his parents were born on Luna, they had spent most of their lives in the Belt, moving to Ganymede so that Bill could be born safely within its magnetosphere.
Thanks to their wealth and corporate backgrounds, Bill was afforded every luxury growing up. Finest education, living arrangements, and entertainment money could buy. It even bought him friends. What it didn't buy him was freedom to choose his own fate. From the time that he could walk his parents were grooming him for the biomedical industry, and for just as long he'd been rebelling against their influence.
A year into medical school, Bill decided he'd had enough and left Ganymede, joining up with whoever would take him. For the next few years, he found himself working security on everything from ice haulers to corporate R&D facilities.

Last job was working security on Eros Station for Protogen.

While he's been effectively cut off from his family's wealth, he was able to put together a modest savings along with a small collection of valuable stocks that keep him comfortable.
