A massive cataclysm rocked the city, and three rings of destruction tore through structure and geography alike. Damaged buildings crumbled, including the city walls, aqueducts, and many more important sites. Some earth was thrown up into the air, and still floats about today.   Though the city was gradually losing importance within the Empire, this sealed its fate, and the capitol was soon moved to Catarannos .
