Surtung, Flame of the Endless Forge
Surtung, Flame of the Endless Forge, was one of the mightiest of the Eldfell Konungr, ruling from the fiery peaks of Brandfjell. His volcanic kingdom was fuelled by endless forges, where enslaved mortals toiled as smiths and miners, extracting rare ores from deep within the molten earth.
Surtung was a master of crafting legendary weapons, and those who defied him were cast into the very forges they once laboured to feed. His wrath knew no bounds, and his creations were feared across the land.
In his slumber, Surtung’s form is indistinguishable from the volcano itself. A constant plume of smoke rises from the peak of Brandfjell, sometimes bursting with fiery lava as his dreams stir him.
