Session 001 - Dropping Below Zero: Part 1
General Summary
Four adventurers - Elion Vynorin, Thaldrin, Bradley, and Chionestra Palmcrest - each separately join a caravan travelling between Bladescar Ridge and the village of Svarholt. During their journey, the caravan, led by Nal Stoz and his wife Joselyn Stoz, suffers a devasting loss when most of its horses and carts are destroyed by treacherously icy terrain. Forced to seek shelter in Isvinne's Rest, they spend the night in the isolated refuge. But as darkness falls, tragedy strikes: Gryst, the caravan's guard, is found dead under mysterious circumstances, leaving only a frozen hand behind. The adventurers begin to investigate the murder, but their efforts lead to a shocking turn of events - Chionestra Palmcrest seemingly meets her end. However, she is unexpectedly spared from death by a god, whose hand bears the curious mark of a hamster's paw.
