Nethreshkha’s kingdom, Biru-Setet, was a toxic marshland where mortals labored to harvest venomous plants and purify deadly waters. She maintained control over her enslaved populace by monopolizing access to clean water.
Mortals purified her waters and trapped her within her marsh. Legends say she lies buried in the swamp’s mud, waiting for the rivers to swell and set her free.
