Atep, known as He Who Devours the Horizon, ruled a kingdom of perpetual night. His enslaved mortals labored in utter darkness within the depths of Merem-Duat, where he alone controlled access to light. Those who defied him faced blindness or were cast into deeper caverns, never to return.
Mortals sealed Atep within his darkened caves. Legends claim he waits in the shadows, growing in power until he can break free.
