Faye Magic

Faye magic, sometimes known as, Fair folk magic is a magic which is only found in the blood of Fair folk. Its origin is not truly known. The stories would tell that the magic comes from the realm of the Faye. Some say a small lake in the depths of Vaner’s Forest is the source of all Faye magic. Depending on the race of the Fair folk the magic can vary. Elves and Orcs are known to have only a few mages alive at any one time, with most of them being held in high esteem in each culture respectively. Goblins and Fairies all have some magical abilities, though many just have a very basic ability. The Goblin King and the Fairy Queen are considered to be the most powerful of all the fair folk and are thus have extremely powerful magical abilities. The Dwarves however have no magical properties but are skilled at moulding and transforming Enther stone into weapons and tools.   The War of Iron, a rebellion of the Fairfolk in Enther which took place shortly after the Battle for Enther, saw the fair folk rebel against the human crown. After the Orcs switched sides, the other races of Fair folk were brought to surrender and a peace treaty was signed. This gave fair folk their own domains within Enther and allowed them to govern their own domains as they saw fit, in return, they would report to the Crown and ensure their own governance did not affect anything outside their domain. This meant those who have magical abilities are not required to register with a guild unless they became folkless or ventured outside their domain.
