Mephisto is a Demon possessing a Reclaimer named Benjamin Grant. He is a member of The Servants of Egress division of The Final Knights. He is a former member of The Nexus and is currently trying to take down The 13 Evils. He is one of the protagonists of the No New Hayven Campaign.

Personal history
Benjamin Grant was born and raised just outside of Steel City in Lower Canuckistan in 2219 END. In his late teens, while scouting for his settlement, he was captured by The Packard Clan and taken to Motor City in Wichigan. There he was forced into slavery where he worked on the railway. The Cult of Fallow Hopes was prominent in Motor City at the time and Ben was indoctrinated into their group. After a few years he tapped into Psionic abilities which he eventually used to escape along with a few Irons. From here on Ben would break all ties with the Fallow Hopes and start to take on the ideals of the Final Knights . Benjamin traveled to Old Jer-Z, making it to New Hayven in 2265 END not long after the Frozen Time Anomaly. In New Hayven he met Paul The Tax Collector, Courtni Illyad, and Hans. It was here they heard about The 13 Evils and set out to stop them. Along the way Ben was forced into a Final Knight Ceremony at the hands of Crisiz, which led to him being possessed by a demon named Mephisto. Mephisto is currently working with The Servants of Egress to take down Rikku Shadozu and inherit the power of The Devil.
