One of the founding families of The Sovereign on Old Earth. They were given the courtesy to rule the first planet, and while there were some disagreements it was finally decided they would take control of Mars (and other Sovereign Monarchies would take other planets/moons). The Head Monarch is Lillie de Avris, she took over the main role of the family after her mother passed away. This role is the most important one, they are the person who communicates planet-politics and government-related issues with Sovereign Monarchy Officer. Big legal and political decisions are finalised via this person. Lillie’s father is someone who enjoys the political atmosphere, he holds the role of communication between the people and the Head Monarch. Lillie’s three sisters and brother don’t play massive parts in the family yet, however, Oscar and Crilie are going to the Institute when they turn 16. Education in politics and infrastructure are what paths lead forward for the other two sisters. If one of the younger siblings were to take over from Lillie, she would have to either die or give the rollover via a vote of the Sovereign Monarch. The next in line will be Lillie’s first daughter, and if she doesn’t bare a daughter then her son.
The culture within the de Avirs monarch has always been to continue the growth and development of manufacturing goods and services. On Old Earth their families owned one of the biggest oil companies, shifting into natural renewable energies when the Old Earth began to suffer to the extent The Sovereign was created. With the most experience of all the founding families, they were able to obtain their position in the Sovereign Monarchy of Mars. The Head Monarch for generations has been known to be highly cutthroat and analytical. Internally, the family get along just as all families do but the centre of their arguments comes from political stature rather than who drank the last of the milk and put the carton back in the refrigerator. However, their public agenda is to continue providing for other planets and moons and even have stated they are working on a project alongside Ganymede constructing the next carrier to venture outside of this solar system.
