The Orchard

A lightly hilly area near the middle of the Enclave is covered with ancient (but still productive) apple, pear, plum, peach, cherry, olive, and nut trees, of diverse varieties. Some of the trees also have grapevines growing through them. It is managed by a mostly Gnomish cooperative that picks and sells the fruit at stands at the bridge north the orchard, as well as the corner of the orchard closest to Wheatville. Cartloads of fruit are shipped out wholesale as well. They also propagate the trees and bank seeds. People can pick their own fruit for a lower cost, and sometimes people have picnics in the orchard.
Fruit and nut trees are also common throughout the Enclave (often found in people's yards).
