Oaken Grove

The Oaken Grove is a small forest of ancient and gigantic hardwood trees, mostly oaks. The Shrine to Obad-Hai is at one edge of it. Many small forest animals live there. A few druids and Gnomes also have small tree-homes or burrows scattered throughout the grove. It is rather dark, and children (and some adults) find it spooky, but it is a public place, and people walk in it and hunt in it. It is customary to remain as quiet as possible in the grove, out of respect for the druids, and the trees themselves.   The Oaken Grove spans The River and lies between Woolville in the west and Centerville in the east. A picturesque suspension bridge made of wood and rope spans The River near the center of the Oaken Grove.
