Meddlesome Erskine

'Meddlesome Erskine', often abbreviated 'M.E.', is the common nickname for Erskine Aburrennui, an unconventional gnomish Cleric of Garl Glittergold. He primarily concentrates on Garl's mischevious aspects. He is elderly but still quite healthy, with an impressive bald head and a heavy staff. He has an ascetic lifestyle, bathes seldom, wears burlap, and sleeps in a small treehouse on the edge of the Pine Slope. He spends his days randomly rambling around all parts of the Enclave, and is well-loved by children (which causes consternation to many parents). His wrinkled face carries a perpetual smile. It is a matter of intense interest to those around him whether that smile is relaxed, mischievous, or wicked. Although he is fond of unpredictable pranks, particularly on people with exaggerated self-importance, he has never been proven to have seriously injured anyone. His wisdom is (somewhat) respected by many. He is a frequent (and usually well-behaved) attendee of meetings of The Enclave Council. He has a teenaged human apprentice, Arman Smith.
