The Nights Eyes
The Night's Eyes, sometimes also called the Gaze of Ishtar, is the common name given to Ora's twin moons Mensaand Sensa (Thought and Feeling). They orbit Ora in regular synchronized, parallel orbit, always appearing to be the same size and position related to each other.
For this reason, they earned the moniker, The Night's Eyes, and it is believed that the goddess Ishtar sees through them as if they were in fact her eyes.
Mensa and Sensa were always in parallel orbits with each other, orbitting at different velocities and appearing in different positions in the night sky, but they did not become synchronized as they are now until the Reshaping Year of Order, when Ishtar and Primus set them on their current trajectories.
From Ora the two moons appear to be the same size, though in fact, Mensa is a bit larger than Sensa. The illusion is a product of forced perspective, since Mensa is a bit further out from the planet. Both moons are rocky objects without atmospheres but they have slightly different makeups giving Mensa a bluish tent and Sensa a reddish tent. Their cycles of waxing and waning are tracked on The Primean Calendar.
