The Heist of the Black Ball Bearing
When Jahangir and I just got acquainted weirdly Jahangir did not trust me, possibly it had something to do with the fact that they found me pillory after an unsuccessful and drunken attempt to steal some undergarments from the mayor's daughter. Reasons aside why he didn't trust me, he proposed a challenge to test my skills. In the challenge, he would have me steal a single black ball bearing from his room as he slept and present my accomplishment to him the next morning. We drank our last mugs of beer and I began to think of a devious scheme as I trusted him as little as he trusted me. The evening progressed to its natural ending and everyone went to bed, or so they thought.
I strolled around the outside of the inn and using all my wit and cunning figured out what window belonged to Jehangir, after this, it was a mere climb and a quick flick of the wrist to get the window open. While being my usual stealthy self I climbed into the room and slowly snuck to the bag of ball bearings. His plan, which I, of course, realised the minute he challenged me, hinged on the fact that messing around with ball bearings in a dark room while being quiet is a pain and one mistake would lead to quite some noise. Having realised this my plan now set into action as I simply switched his bag of ball barrings with mine. Now I would be able to find out whether he was some sort of magic trickster if he somehow still had the ballbearing. I left as silently as I came of course. The following morning over breakfast I asked Jehangir to either present me with the black ballbearing or to simply give me my reward, I believe it was beer. I gladly waited as he tried to find it in his bag but eventually, he caved and presented me with my winnings.
