Lava Spitting

Lava Spitting is one of the several elemental abilities that Sapient Animals can possess. It is used almost exclusively by Fire Elementals. They have an organ near their stomach that can store rocks and stones, which are then superheated into boiling hot lava to spat/sprayed out as an attack.

Effect

The User shoots lava at the target from their mouth, most often it is spat but sometimes it can be sprayed, this hurts the target, causing damage.

Side/Secondary Effects

Lava Spit might also cause burns. It might also stun you if you get hit by any unmelted stones, but the latter is the least if your concerns. the burns may be more harsh then normal due to lava sticking to the target compared to normal fire attacks where the flames go out after a while. If Botched, the User may burn themselves or their internal organs if they fail to put enough force into the spit or if their Lava Sack is ruptured.

Manifestation

It manifests itself in the form of a spitball of lava (or sometimes a spray). It often comes out with smoke and ash.

It cannot be used underwater, doing so is possibly lethal, as the lava could cool as it leaves the mouth, choking the user as a result. It also can't be used one has a damaged (most often ruptured) Lava Sack.
