James Rance (a.k.a. Hypno)
Hypno is a Daze Drake from the planet Psycalia and is a member of the main group "The Fearsome Four". He is a therapist who, after getting an appointment with Magma and delving into her psyche and issues, decided to join her in her travels across the eleven planets. He is the caring type and is always willing to help others if they need a listening ear.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Hypno is thick and sturdy. He is slightly overweight, but still generally healthy.

He has dark grey scales and is perfectly normal for his species aside from being a little overweight.
Facial Features
He has a face that looks like a mix between an iguana and a beagle, like the rest of his species.
Special abilities
Hypno, being a Daze Drake, has many abilities, from telekinesis, to hypnotism, to being able to create bursts of psychic energy or passive psychic auras. Being a psychic elemental, the effects of the electromagnetic fields that are present in some parts of Psycalia are minimal on him at best, though he is not immune.

Personal history
Hypno was once a therapist in Psycalia. He wanted to help others while still refusing to battle. He proved to be one of the few therapists that genuinely cared for his patients instead of viewing them as just part of a job to complete. Hypno was always looked down on as a teen for not wanting to resort to brutal battles against his peers at the time. Once he became an adult, he got himself a nice apartment in the main city before getting his previously mentioned job as a therapist in a building open for indie businesses.

Hypno is an optimistic pacifist, always looking on the bright side despite the cynicism that tends to reek through the eleven elemental planets. He is a pacifist not only because he is too weak to directly attack others, but also because he can't help but feel guilt over attacking another animal. This is also why he dislikes battling, to him, it is like legalized and idealized yet pointless violence.
Taboos
He cannot stand the idea of being forced to battle. Even if he is, he will rely on his psychic abilities to tame his attacker instead. If anyone messes with one of the other members, however, he will not stand around and do nothing, using his psychic abilities to stop them from their attack, or even hypnotize them into working with the four instead.
