Arena Battling

Arena Battling is when two sapeint animals (Sometimes more, as long as both have the same number of members per side) fight one another using their elemental abilities, (I.E Fire Breathing, Water/Sand spraying Etc.) Until one side is "Knocked out" (Their battle given hp has been depleated and the opossing side can no longer fight back).

History

Battling began with Luxerians when they would create areas to test one another's strength to prove their worth in Luxerian socity, if one lost in a battle, they were seen as weak and shameful while the winners were seen as examples of strength and power. For many centeries after it first began to die out, organized battles like these where seen as something brutal. Later on, a luxerain reintroduced it, starting in their own home planet after seeing the old, abdandoned arena buildings and watching his cubs playfully fight with one another. He thought it would be a great idea to reintroduce organized battling again so teens and adults could enjoy the same feeling, but this time, in a "proper" setting, and for fun and showing off strength to one another, with little/no shame to the loser. This spread from planet to planet until all eleven had arenas set up within them and ever ready participents.

Execution

In modern day, Sapient animals enter into an arena and sign up for battles beforehand, then sometimes training for days, weeks or even months before the battle actually starts, at which point, the two opossing sides enter from the light and right entrance into the battlefield, once a ding or beep from a nearby tv screen that also broadcasts and records the battles live. Each participent has HP or hit points given to them after an analysis of their health. Once one side has all their "HP" depleated from damage, they will become unable to battle, falling as a result. The Winner is announced and the crowd cheers. It is considered good sportsmanship for the Loser to thank the Winner for the battle.

Components and tools

Items are actually typically banned in arenas, with the only tools being used are the ones the participents come with, like poisonous gas or pressurized water.

Participants

Anyone can participate in arena battles no matter the planet, as long as they sign up and show up on time. Arenas have crowds that watch the fight go on, said crowds can also consist of anyone, though they are mostly locals from the planet the arena is in and elementals from the opposing side's home planet. The Crowds can sometimes go wild, cheering and booing, creating a calvalade of chaos during the combat

Observance

Arena Battles can happen pretty much any time, if there are willing participents, a willing crowd, and a lack of complaints about the noise. As long as you sign up for a time arena officals already have set up, then your good to go.
