The Azure Council

The ruling body of Ironhaven and its domain is the Azure Council. The Azure Council is a representative democracy.

Structure

• The Azure Council is made up of 11 members:
• Two representatives from each of the five wards are elected to a term of three years. No representative may serve consecutive terms nor may they serve more than two terms in ten years.
• One representative of the Guilds, who is elected every three years by masters and journeymen of all the signatory members of the Guild Compact.
• These 11 representatives elect a First Among Equals from among themselves at each new term.
