Coming of Age Rites
When an elf reaches adulthood they are gifted with a fine set of tools appropriate to their chosen craft, be they smithing hammers and tongs, weapon and armor, a musical instrument, or a spellbook. These tools are treasured and used in the furtherance of the elf's craft with the expectations that they will craft greater tools as their experience grows.

Common Myths and Legends
Myth tells that the elven people awoke in the twilight of the world during a vast meteor shower. As stars shot through the sky overhead, the first elves rose and cast their gaze upward, marvelling at the heavenly display. Many began following the shooting stars west and eventually founded realms where these fallen stars dug great holes in the ground.
These rifts in the earth revealed veins of jewels and precious metals and sparked the imagination of these people, who would eventually delve great enclaves in the rifts.
Historical figures
Felaeren was the first leader of the host of elves that left Aetrios and went west to the land that would become the continent of Ilbreth. He is held in mystical reverence by many northern elves.
