Morrowind

Dearest reader, I present to you here, Morrowind, the "Star-Wounded East".

Morrowind is the exotic ancient homeland of the Dark-Elves, a volcanic ashen wasteland that seems to have shaped a dour, bitter people. Why the dark elves chose such a barren country as their own defies logic, but they have defended it fiercely throughout the years.

The term Morrowind is an Imperial invention, an exonym that is used to distinguish the Imperial province from it's independent past as the Nation of Resdayn (Resdaynia).

The land of Morrowind is dotted with the remnants of Dwarven culture, and is generally considered to have been the Dwarven homeland in ages long past.
