Sea Elves

Sea elves are a subrace of elf that live in the ruins of Salazuir- underwater. During the destruction of the continent many thousands of years ago there were plenty of Elves which persisted on ships, had fallen into the water, or otherwise remained near Salazuir. While most of these chose to pursue the land masses that broke off Salazuir, a small percentage stayed as the few remaining pieces of the continent sank below the waves. Through some legacy of the magic so great it split a continent, over time the elves were able to breathe underwater. Their society has existed in isolation for thousands of years and has yet to be discovered by anyone.
