Lutzenfold
Demographics
Lutzenfold is a town inhabited by a large number of aristcrats and professionals, with a relatively low number of peasants compared to other cities of similar size. It's mostly composed of Blazennian humans, though there are some eldritch and elves present, making up about 15-20% of the populace.
Industry & Trade
Lutzenfold has several industries, but none so profitable as the lumber trade. Although the dominance of this industry has faded as the riverine route is pursued over the route through Lake Linoren, it remains the largest in the city. As a subsidiary of the lumber industry, Lutzenfold is also a center of paper production, and most of Bahran's paper production comes from this city, with lumber shipped by other routes ebing primarily for shipbuilding. The city has several other smaller industries, such as cloth production, primarily done by elven artisans and for the benefit of the large noble class.
Architecture
Lutzenfold is often considered one of the most beautiful cities in the whole Empire, of which no small part of this is its architecture. Starting at the lakeshore, all architecture is integrated nicely with beaches and promenades, and even the main shipping centers are constructed of elegantly carved, though sturdy, lumber. Lutzenfold's beauty is further enhanced by the contrast between the wooden buildings of the lower class with the soaring stone manors of the wealthy. Due to Lutzenfold sitting just a short distance from Impirmine, a number of high quality stone can be found in the city for relatively cheap compared to other places, and trading lumber to the dwarves in exchange is always welcome.
Geography
Lutzenfold is situated between lake Linoren and the Bahrani woods, in a flat grassland. The immediate surrounding were cleared by early settlers, but otherwise Lutzenfold remains a city in the middle of the woods, with only just enough famland to provide for the city's population. Its growth has been limited to spreading along the lakeshore, which dominates the views.
Climate
Lutzenfold's climate is generally temperate, with warm but not hot weather year-round and relatively low amounts of rain. It benefits from proximity to Lake Linoren in both regards, providing excellent moderation of the climate.
