Ichoran

Ichoran is an old Gnomish fortification that once guarded the [tbd] strait. The settlement was taken over by pirates and marauders following the evetns of the [tbd] war and became a hotspot for raiding in the region. However, eventually the pirates began charging  toll to pass in exchange for protection and developed a more civilized culture- so long as traders pay the fee. They have since become an integral part of commerce in the region, fighting off other pirates and making large amounts of money on trade and tolls. Due to the presence of Fort Ichoran, the settlement bosts a larger-than-usualy population of Gnomes for the region.
