Ibairon

Ibairon was once the shimmering capital of the Grand Kingdom of Shirion, the political center of one of the most powerful halfling states in recent memory. Now, the city is a collection of ruins and shantytowns, with its infrastructure shattered and its food situation grim. As the last refuge of the Grand Kingdom, Ibairon hosts the similarly decrepid royal court, with much of its wealth sold to fund the war effort. Ibairon, while standing under the King's banner for most of the war, suffered greatly duing the purge, with most of its human population being exterminated by radicals. Thanks to this and food shortages, Ibairon has been reduced to a third of its prewar population, even counting the slums along the remaining agricultural lands.
