Calendars of The Eighth Realm

The denizens of the Eighth Realm are varied in their choice of calendar. Although most merchants and other notable dignitaries are often aware of the Gnomish Calendar due to its use in trade, they tend to primarily use their own local calendar for most things. Some of the most important and widespread calendars are listed below

• Gnomish Calendar: Dating from The Great Calamity, with dates before designated as BC and dates after using SC. Current year: 2000 SC
• Ursumar Calendar: Dates from the legendary ascension of Anūr to the throne of the gods in their Alwatian faith. Alternate dating based on dynasties are also used, and are more common in everyday life, though this date is currently unclear due to the Ursumar dynastic debate. Current date: 8582 UR/185 13D
• Blazeologoical Calendar: A calendar by Blazennian priests only, as it dates from before the establishment of the Blazennian civilization. Current year: TBD
• Oleandais Calendar: A calendar used by most of southern Telgren, dating from the foundation of the first settlements of the Empire of Oleandron. Current Year: 2336 AO
• Wanyun Calendar: A calendar used by the Wanyuns (currently Syeoban) and dated by dynasty. Current year: 373 WS
