Čynag Blue-eye

Čynag Blue-eye was a cyclops born with a mysterious birth defect: his entire eye was totally blue. No iris, no pupil, just blue. Naturally, this left him entirely blind, and he would have faded from history if not for one fact: he was a brilliant mage. Especially skilled in divination, he was able to see the future and then move accordingly. Using his powers, he united first his clan and then the entirety of the Bone Islands, before then marching on the mainland. After uniting all cyclopes under one banner, he then led a devastating conquest of the halfling-led Old Southern Kingdoms. However, despite conquering huge swaths of land, Čynag was unable to forsee a path which would not end in despair. Every option he explored led to his great empire eventually falling to pieces. There was nobody who could unify all the tribes, nobody who was his equal. And thus, Čynag died of a broken heart, his spirit crushed by the endless relays of death and destruction to come. Čynag had simply been born too early. The cyclops clans were not united or civilized enough to work together in the long term, there was nobody who was truly up to the task in the first place and no infrastructure to support it, and technology was simply not good enough.
Despite failing in his quest to unite the cyclopes forever, Čynag did have a number of successes, one of which was the spreading of the Blue-eye name. Born of marriages to secure alliances, the spawn of Old Blue-eye are prominent enough as citizens, though few have held the title of ruler. In the present day, only Bogdan Blue-eye, leader of the Far Eastern Bone Isles holds any sort of power, and his realm is on the back foot against the other Bone Island nations. But the Blue-eye clan has the blood of legends, and all know it. It's only a matter of time before the next Čynag Blue-eye is born.
