The Eastern Continent

Very little is known about the lands that lie beyond the Krising State, though not for lack of trying. The powers of Soln are aware that at least one other continent exists in their land mass and that a select few claim to have been there. Regualr contact is nonexistent, though, and travelers from the Eastern Continent aren't exactly a regular sight in the west. Travel through the previously restrictive Krising State is now functionally impossible, and the few parties who have attempted such a crossing in recent years have not returned. It's been theorized that the vast unmapped expanse of the Outlands could connect to the Eastern Continent at some point, but with the collapse of the Republic and subsequent upheaval across Soln, attempts by any major power to open up a path to the Eastern Continent have crumbled and likely won't be opened any time soon.
What little is known of the Eastern Continent comes from the diaries of Versi de Margianno, a supposed Apollenian explorer who supposedly found safe passage through the trecherous waters south of Toryhs and around the Outlands into the Eastern Continent. His accounts detail a land of inspiring and bizarre wonders, from great deserts of sand to humid rainforests with titanic reptiles stalking the underbrush. Much of de Margianno's diary has been published in many forms over the years, a popular book to stoke the imaginations of the adventurous reader, but the veracity of his claims has been called into question in recent years. Discrepancies in his writings as well as the inability of historians to determine if he was even real or not has thrown into doubt whether his description of the Eastern Continent is accurate, but with no other explorers returning from attempts to find that fabled land, his account is the closest thing Soln has to truth.
