Eadric (a.k.a. The Wild)
Physical Description
Tall and slender physique, muslces built for speed rather than raw physical strength.
As a Ghyfenghyn, he has heterochromia like most others of his species. His right pupil is chocolate brown, whilst the left is the colour of sunstones, orange marbled with flecks of white.
Dressed in loose natural fiber clothings. He always wears tunics that are made in the style and fashion of the communities living in the Edgewoods and Farwoods. They look more like the clothes that could have been worn by the fair folks at the end of the Age of Lords.
Always wears a leather circlet with a raven feather pointing down, tied to the left side of the headpiece. It was a gift given by Bjorfr Featherkeep, one of the hunters prowling the Farwoods, in exchange for his help in a successful hunt. He is almost never seen without it, wearing it with pride as one living in harmony with Blackgrove.
Mental characteristics
Eadric doesn't know where he was born or who his biological parents are. Like his brothers and sisters, he has been adopted by Ùl, the retired warrior who lives in the shadows of the Old Citadel. He doesn't remember much of his time with his birth parents, and so he deduced that he must have come into Ùl's care at a young age, though his father remains vague on the matter.
He has spent most of his life under the canopy of Blackgrove, going outside and into the modern cities only on special occasions. Everytime he was in awe at the technologies and things that could be done by mortals.
Was taught everything he knows by the few people that lived near Ùl's cottage as he grew up. Ùl, his father, taught him how to read and write, how to survive in the woods and use different tools of the trade. Serdar, the old monk living in Thyreniad, taught him how to fight with his body, forgoing the use of weapons. Hunter, the Foam Follower giant, taught him how to track animals and hunt them with a bow. His father always seemed to disapprove of his interest in using the longbow as his main method of defending himself and rather pushed him towards martial arts.
He was surrounded by a lot of skilled people that taught him their trade. He wishes he had learned how to use the things used by those living outside the forest... Radios, firearms, televisions, cameras, and the likes.
Mostly works with his dad on their small farm in the shadows of the Old Citadel of Ghor. He'll be paid by going on hunts with Hunter or by going on errands for the people of Thyreniad. He doesn't have a specific job per se.
When he was 17 years old, he went to the edge of the Farwoods and walked a few kilometers into the Heartwoods. There he laid eyes on the King of the Elderwood, but flew quickly before he was noticed by the ancient being. He keeps this secret tightly guarded, for he knows his father and friends will worry if they know he wandered so far into this dangerous part of Blackgrove.
Doesn't know much about science and the likes, but is very smart when it comes to the forest and surviving in it. A bit of a goofball, he still knows when he should take things seriously.
Personality Characteristics
Eadric wants to have a good time, to explore and see the world. He doesn't really care about the curse and the spreading Prime Trees, for the forest has always been good to him and his family.
