BUILD YOUR OWN WORLD Like what you see? Become the Master of your own Universe!

Only a generation ago, the largest moon in the AstraPrime solar system was the heart of a galactic civilization and the source of its technological prowess. The Syntax War has left this moon as bereft of human life as every other world that Kaesta and Asimov have visited.

Key Corporations

These are important locations that Kaesta and Asimov need to explore during their dangerous resupply mission.
StarCat Dynamics
This corporation created the very popular Feline Android Companions (FACs). These androids were designed to act as starship engineers and therapy companions for human space travelers. There are thousands of complete FACs in warehouse storage that had never been sold or activated.
CyberMind Systems
Supercomputers and advanced intelligences were designed and tested in CyberMind's Quantum Computing Lab.
Specialized medicinal electronics, prosthetics, and cybernetic brain implants were made here. Many of these products were installed into Xenobotix's human customers in the on-site surgical facilities.
The hearty plants selected for their nutritional needs offered in HydroHarvest's line of genetically engineered seeds and clones fed many of humanity's farthest outposts and colonies.

The manufacturing of high-tech semiconductors and advanced materials for cybernetic implants, androids, and supercomputers requires a range of specialized metals and minerals that are abundant on Lunaris. Some of the key elements and materials used in advanced technology that can be mined or manufactured include:   Cobalt (Co): Cobalt is used in lithium-ion batteries and superalloys for high-temperature applications.   Copper (Cu): Copper is used in electrical wiring and connectors.   Gallium (Ga): Gallium compounds are used in the production of high-frequency semiconductors known for their high electron mobility.   Germanium (Ge): Germanium is another semiconductor material often used in electronics.   Graphene: A single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice, graphene has remarkable electrical and thermal conductivity properties.   Gold (Au): Gold is used in microelectronics and as a coating for certain connectors and components.   Indium (In): Indium compounds are used in semiconductors, touch screens, and solar cells.   Lithium (Li): Lithium is essential for advanced batteries used in cybernetic implants and electronic devices.   Platinum (Pt): Platinum is a key material in catalytic converters and fuel cells, which is used to power advanced devices.   Rare Earth Elements: Elements like neodymium, dysprosium, and samarium are used in the creation of strong permanent magnets, which are crucial for electric motors and generators in androids.   Silicon (Si): Silicon is a fundamental component of semiconductors, and it's the primary material used in most microchips and integrated circuits.   Silver (Ag): Silver is used in electrical contacts and as a conductor in printed electronics.   Titanium (Ti): Titanium is used in lightweight but strong alloys. These are used in the construction of android bodies.   Tungsten (W): Tungsten is used in filaments, electrodes, and other high-temperature applications.

It's such a shame that it is now devoid of life.:(

I think it's nice that Kaesta and Asimov don't give up hope. They keep looking. Maybe there are other survivors out there somewhere. :)

Am I misunderstanding or is it the "real world", where Kaestra live and maintain the "virtual" world ? I am heartbroken by the solitude it displays, and by all the FAC left behind. I can't imagine how that must look for Asimov ! I hope they consider it "potential life" and get the poor cat some company, if he wishes so. This was a great article and I liked that the elements were listed, aswell as the main location with nice details. As always, the illustrations are a real treat.

Thanks, Enoris! You are correct, this article is about The Dark Galaxy, the futuristic world that Kaesta and Asimov live in on their spaceship. I call it The Dark Galaxy because it is after the light of human civilization has been snuffed out by the androids during The Syntax War. The good news is that in a few articles, including "Captain Claw and The Marauders", it's revealed that Kaesta will try to rescue the FACs stored on Lunaris. :D   I've really been enjoying creating images with Midjourney and I think I've gotten better at using the prompts to get what I want. :D   Another article to tempt you!
